Thinking of selling your home? A lot of home owners today are upside down in their homes (Their mortgage is higher than the current market value of their home). My advise is to stick it out as long as you can, if you don’t need to sell than don’t. How many realtor would tell you that? If the banks released all the foreclosures they have stock piled you home would be worth nothing!
So what should you do if you need to sell. First you have to know what your current area market is. Than you have to make a decision on your bottom line price. Contact your local Realtor for a CMA (Comparable Market Analysis) this should be FREE if not go to another Realtor or call me. Reminder Realtors don’t get paid unless their sell your house. A good Real Estate Company will offer you a market plan to show you how they plan on selling your house. Remember the higher the price the longer your house is on the market.
Many home owners will try a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) approach to save money.
